FAQs
What kind of boats does Action Craft build?
Action Craft builds performance-focused flats boats and bay boats designed primarily for inshore, shallow-water, and coastal fishing. Its current lineup includes the 17 Flyfisher and 20 Flatsmaster flats boats, along with the 22 Coastal Bay and 24 Coastal Bay models. These boats are designed to combine shallow draft, fishing functionality, storage, livewell capacity, and versatility for a variety of fishing conditions.
Who makes Action Craft boats?
Action Craft boats are built by Action Craft Boats, a Florida boat manufacturer with a history dating back to 1981. The company specializes in hand-crafted fishing boats and has spent more than four decades refining designs focused on shallow-water performance, durability, and fishability.
Why are Action Craft boats popular?
Action Craft boats are popular with anglers because of their shallow-water capability, fishing-focused layouts, durable construction, and specialized hull technology. Features such as the Qui-Dry® Hull are designed to reduce hull slap and spray, while the Pocket-Drive system helps provide a shallower running draft and improved efficiency. Their ability to transition from skinny backwaters to larger bays and coastal waters also makes them a versatile choice for Florida anglers.
